SPECIAL SECURITY BULLETIN:
Since the tragedy on September 11, 2001, water agencies, including Orange County Water District, have increased their physical security and surveillance measures. For obvious reasons, we cannot go into the details of those measures. There have been no threats to our water facilities. We routinely evaluate and update our security measures and we are maintaining contact with appropriate local, state and federal security organizations to keep abreast of the situation in these extraordinary times. The overall heightened security nationwide will provide increased security for our water supply. We will remain vigilant to protect Orange County’s groundwater supply.
